Ein 16-jähriges Mädchen ist im Iran von der Polizei vorübergehend festgenommen worden, weil sie sich ein Männer-Fußballspiel angeschaut hatte.

Sie hatte sich als Junge verkleidet und war so unbemerkt in das Stadion von Abadan gelangt. Mit ihrer hellen Stimme hatte sie sich bei der Anfeuerung ihres Teams jedoch verraten. Ein Zuschauer alarmierte daraufhin die Polizei, die das Mädchen in Gewahrsam nahm. Die Polizei übergab das Mädchen später seiner Familie. Das berichtet die iranische Zeitung Etemad.

With the election of a conservative Islamic government, however, the little girl finds her life changed dramatically as increasing political repression and the restriction of women's freedom lead her parents to the decision to send Marjane to Austria to complete her education.

فیلم پرسپولیس براساس کتاب مصور بسیار پر فروش با همین نام در باره تجربیات شخصی پس از انقلاب نویسنده (مرجانه ستراپی)ساخته شده است، این فیلم جایزه نخل طلائي هیات داوران شصتمين جشنواره جهانی فیلم کان را هم برنده شده است. در جشنواره جهانی فیلم کان که از ۱۶ تا ۲۷ ماه می ( 28 ارديبهشت تا 10 خرداد ) برگزار شد، هيچ فيلمي از رژیم جمهوري اسلامي انتخاب نشد و براي اولين بار فيلمي از يک زن مهاجر ايراني به نمايش آمد. فيلمي در ستايش پرسپوليس وعليه رژیم جمهوري اسلامي.

My parents were very proud when they read Persepolis. If I criticize them once in a while, it's because it's the truth, and they laugh. My father always says, "It is only an idiot who never changes his mind." My parents accept that times change, and they are not right anymore. They've taught me that you can make mistakes. They were extremely open-minded about what I said and they were demanding. I'm also tender with them because they were magnificent parents. They gave me the most important thing -- the freedom of thinking and deciding for myself. The best present anyone can receive is not being formatted because the world or a religion wants you to be.

Filmmakers Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud collaborated to co-write and co-direct this adaptation of Satrapi's best selling autobiographical graphic novel detailing the trials faced by an outspoken Iranian girl who finds her unique attitude and outlook on life repeatedly challenged during the Islamic revolution. The English-language version features the voice talents of Sean Penn, Gena Rowlands, and Iggy Pop, with Catherine Deneuve and Chiara Mastroianni reprising their roles from the original French-language version.

I have worn a hijab, and it was a question of survival. When I was 10 the revolution happened in Iran, where I lived, and from that point I was forced to wear the veil. If I hadn't done it, I would have been jailed. That is why I am absolutely opposed to the veil. Forcing women to put a piece of material on their head is an act of violence, and even if you get used to it after a while, the violence of insisting that women must cover their heads in public with a small piece of cloth does not diminish. Willkür, Misshandlungen, Einzelhaft: Wer in Iran aufmuckt, lebt gefährlich. Dutzende Aktivisten, Studenten, Journalisten und Lehrer sind laut Human Rights Watch in den vergangenen zwei Jahren ohne Anklage hinter Gittern gelandet - in der berüchtigten Sektion 209 des Teheraner Evin-Gefängnisses.

Sadistische Wärter, endlose Verhöre, Drohungen, Gewalt - mit Schaudern erinnert sich der junge Mann an die Zeit im Evin-Gefängnis in Teheran. Wer nicht bekannte, was die Verhörleiter hören wollten, wurde massiv eingeschüchtert. "Sie haben gedroht, uns mit Wasserflaschen zu vergewaltigen", erzählte ein iranischer Student den Menschenrechtlern von Human Rights Watch (HRW). Im Juli 2007 war er inhaftiert worden - ohne Anklage, allerdings mit dem Vorwurf, die "innere Sicherheit" Irans gefährdet zu haben. Er hatte an einer friedlichen Demonstration auf dem Universitätsgelände teilgenommen. Dann kam er in Sektion 209.

Um an ein Geständnis zu kommen, nutzten die Aufseher perfide Tricks. "Sie haben uns Lügen über unsere Familien erzählt und gefälschte Dokumente vorgelegt", wird der Student in dem HRW-Bericht zitiert. Sein Name wird geheim gehalten - um den jungen Mann nicht zu gefährden. Einem Mitgefangenen hätten die Wärter erzählt, sein Vater sei seinetwegen gefeuert worden. Einem anderen machten sie weis, seine Mutter liege sterbenskrank in der Klinik - als "Beweis" legten sie gefälschte Krankenakten vor.

Schläge, Tritte, sexuelle Demütigungen und Dauerbeschallung in der Zelle sind dem Dokument zufolge an der Tagesordnung in Evin. Kontakt zu Angehörigen oder einem Anwalt wird den Inhaftierten meist verwehrt. Wer dennoch telefonieren darf und etwas Unliebsames sagt, dem wird die Leitung gekappt.


Ohne Anklage hinter Gitter - monatelang

Die Behandlung der Gefangenen in Sektion 209 hat nach Angaben von HRW Methode. Besonderes Kennzeichen der Ära Ahmadinedschad: Immer mehr Regimekritiker müssen Repressalien und Festnahmen befürchten, immer neue Bereiche gelten als Verstoß gegen die "innere Sicherheit" des Landes. Im Fokus der iranischen Sicherheitskräfte: Menschen, die sich für Frauenrechte einsetzen, Lehrer, die mehr Geld und höhere Renten fordern, Studenten und Aktivisten, die eine soziale und politische Reform wollen, Journalisten, Gelehrte. Dutzendfach hat Human Rights Watch in seinem Bericht belegt, dass friedliche Demonstranten ohne Anklage monatelang im Evin-Gefängnis ausharren mussten, teils in Einzelhaft.

Als rechtlichen Hintergrund nutzt der Staat ein schwammig formuliertes Gesetzespaket. Ein Beispiel: Die sogenannten Sicherheitsgesetze stellen etwa die Beleidigung all dessen unter Strafe, was dem Islam heilig sei - doch was genau unter "Beleidigung" zu verstehen ist, darüber schweigt sich der Gesetzestext aus. "Die Bestimmungen zum Thema Sicherheit sind so allgemein gehalten, dass man jeden für alles mögliche einsperren und ihm eine Haftstrafe aufbrummen kann", zitiert der HRW-Bericht einen iranischen Aktivisten und Jurastudenten.

Irans Justizsystem ist von Brutalität und Willkür gekennzeichnet. Immer wieder prangern internationale Organisationen Menschenrechtsverletzungen an. Im Internet kursieren mit dem Handy aufgenommene Filme von öffentlichen Massenhinrichtungen. Auf Homosexualität steht die Todesstrafe, "sexuelle Delinquenten" - ungeachtet ihres Alters - werden gesteinigt, Regimekritiker verschwinden spurlos. Verstöße gegen die Scharia werden oft auch mit grausamen körperlichen Züchtigungen wie öffentliches Auspeitschen geahndet.


Brutalität nach Belieben

Der Bericht von Human Rights Watch hat sich nun Fälle aus den vergangenen zwei Jahren vorgenommen und akribisch ausgewertet. Befragt wurden Dutzende Betroffene, die vor allem von ihrer Haft in der berüchtigten Sektion 209 des Evin-Gefängnisses in der Hauptstadt Teheran berichteten.

Sektion 209 ist ein Bereich innerhalb der Haftanstalt, der laut HRW nicht der regulären Gefängnisleitung unterstellt ist. Dort bringen Einheiten des Informationsministeriums, der Revolutionsgarden und anderer Justizbehörden ihre Gefangenen unter, zumeist Menschen, denen eine Gefährdung der inneren Sicherheit vorgeworfen wird. Sie können nach Belieben darüber entscheiden, wie mit den Häftlingen verfahren werden soll. Und das nutzen die Verantwortlichen nach Angaben von HRW aus und verstoßen nicht nur mit den brutalen Verhörmethoden dabei mutwillig gegen die Menschenrechte. Ähnliche Zustände meldet HRW auch aus den Sektionen 240 und 325 Aleph der Haftanstalt.

Ein Ende der Praxis scheint nicht in Sicht. Nach Abschluss des Berichts schickten die Menschenrechtler je ein Exemplar an die Minister der Ressorts Justiz und Information mit der Bitte um Stellungnahme.

Eine Antwort bekamen sie nicht.
